A comprehensive sports participation evaluation to assess your overall health and fitness for athletic activities, including a resting EKG (electrocardiogram). This visit may include: • Sports participation physical examination • Review of medical and family history • Blood pressure, heart rate, height, weight, and vital signs • Cardiovascular and respiratory assessment • Musculoskeletal evaluation for sports participation • Screening for symptoms or risk factors that may affect athletic participation • Resting EKG to assess heart rhythm and identify certain cardiac abnormalities • Review of medications and relevant medical conditions • Completion of sports participation or school athletic forms when appropriate • Recommendations for additional testing or specialist evaluation if medically indicated Please select this service if you need a physical examination for school, sports, athletics, or recreational activities and require an EKG as part of the evaluation. An EKG is a screening test and does not rule out all heart conditions. If significant abnormalities or concerning symptoms are identified, additional evaluation or cardiology referral may be recommended.
